About the GLA-3A SINGLE Compressor
We present the GLA-3A, a 2-channel compressor inspired by the classic LA-3A.
With a Compress/Limit switch per channel, you can switch between softer or more aggressive compression, limiting higher signal peaks.
With a front selector, you can switch between two modes: Original and Fast. In original mode, the compressor acts with the same characteristics as the original LA-3A model. In Fast mode, the compressor attack acts faster and more aggressively.
In the audio signal stage, we added the classic 2N3055 transistor, to give the equipment a special touch, achieving more transparent and crystal-clear sounds.
The GLA-3A SINGLE has an input and output transformer per channel. The input transformer is made of Permalloy, and offers high isolation capacity and high sound quality. At the output, there is a 600:600 transformer, delivering high performance in signal balancing.

We used the LA-3A compression circuit as a base and some details from the LA-4A. This fusion resulted in an even more versatile and efficient compressor, mainly because it has a Compress/Limit control. With a sidechain composed of transistors also used in the LA-3A, our GLA-3A offers efficient compression capable of being used in countless situations, whether on vocals or any other instrument.
