We are excited to introduce our incredible G73B 2-channel preamp, a true masterpiece inspired by the legendary Neve 1073.
This piece of equipment is simply extraordinary!
Designed with a circuit 100% inspired by the Neve 1073, but with exclusive touches that carry the unmistakable Greenbox signature.
The G73B is equipped with carefully chosen transistors, including the iconic 2N3055, also present in the Neve 1073. The result? A warm and enveloping sound characteristic that elevates your recordings magnificently!
Each channel of the G73B is equipped with two separate audio transformers. The input transformer, designed with the same specifications as the 1073, features a permalloy core for maximum sound quality and exceptional isolation. The output transformer, modeled after the one used for years in the 1073, is linear, providing that richness and fat characteristic of the classic 1073.
This incredible preamp offers total control over your audio experience. With Input Gain per channel and a TRIM that shapes the output stage, you have the power to adjust every detail to your taste. The Hi-Pass switch, with options for bass cut at 75Hz or OFF, allows for unique flexibility in achieving the desired sound.
In addition, the robust design of the G73B is evident in every detail. Its high-quality cabinet ensures exceptional durability, protecting the equipment's internal circuitry. The 3mm steel front, with special paint and varnish, is a work of art in itself. The symbology is precisely printed on a professional UV printer, ensuring impeccable aesthetics.
