With 3 compression controls - PEAK, ATTACK and RELEASE - the Smash 500 puts you in total control of your sound. Adjust PEAK to determine the desired compression level, while ATTACK and RELEASE allow you to customize the compression start and end time, offering fast and slow options to suit your needs. The fixed 4:1 ratio adds an extra layer of compression, allowing you to compress the signals that pass through the Smash 500.
The Out Gain control allows for perfect compensation after compression, with an output gain of 15 dB. And to elevate the experience even further, the Smash 500 is equipped with the Greenbox TT-6060L audio transformer on the output - a touch of coloration that provides a warm and immersive sound.
