About the Tape Recorder Simulator G70B
Introducing our 2-Channel Tape Recorder Simulator G70B, a fascinating journey to bring you the authentic sound of tape recorders, wrapped in innovation and practicality.
When diving into the world of tape, we know that its capacity to receive signals has a limit, and any signal beyond that point is compressed, generating a unique saturation appreciated by many audio enthusiasts. Inspired by this magic, we developed the G70B - a hardware that simulates this legendary saturation, but at a much lower cost than a tape recorder.
Forget about periodic maintenance and tape changes. The G70B offers the best of both worlds: the magic of tape saturation without the periodic complications of old tape recorders.
This dynamic tape simulator is not limited to emulation only. With the ability to simulate the speeds of old tape recorders - 7.5IPS and 15IPS - the G70B becomes a sonic time machine.
At 7.5 IPS, the G70B creates frequency cuts, especially in the highs, providing an opaque and harsh sound, as if the tape were spinning slowly. At 15 IPS, it adds brightness to the highs and smoothness to the bass, as if the tape were spinning at high speed, exploring the full quality of the device.
A switch per channel allows you to switch between Bypass On / Bypass Off, giving you total control over the device.
Germanium and silicon diodes work together harmoniously to recreate not only the saturation, but also the distinctive harmonic field of tapes.
And that's not all! Equipped with two Greenbox audio transformers, developed with special sound characteristics, the G70B provides a signal texture similar to tape recorders, with a non-fully linear response throughout its sound field.
Put this fascinating equipment in your hands and explore sounds you never imagined possible. The G70B is more than a simulator; It is a sensory experience that greatly enhances your creations.
Don't miss the opportunity to bring this innovation to your studio!
